Our voicemail service ensures you don't miss out on those all important calls. A recording will be taken of your caller's message, the file ( either a .wav or .mp3 file) will then be attached to an email and sent to your chosen email address. You can set up multiple email addresses and receive recordings to any or all of them.
You can Activate/Disable the service whenever you choose in myTTNC. Just follow these simple steps:
- Log in by either clicking on the login button in the header or by going to www.myttnc.co.uk
- Click on the
Phone Numberstab in the left hand menu.
- Click on the
Editbutton on the number you want to setup Voicemail.
Click the 'Edit' button
- If you have Time Based Forwarding or Virtual Receptionist (Bolt Ons) set up: Voicemail is classed as a destination service so will not show in the initial list of services. To set up Voicemail, either go to a Time Plan under Time Based Forwarding or an option under Virtual Receptionist and then select Voicemail (or Voicemail Pro if you have it) from the list of services.
Otherwise: Select Voicemail (or Voicemail Pro if you have it) from the list of services.

- If you have Voicemail Pro: Use the drop down to select a custom voicemail greeting. You can listen to the recording using the audio player on the page. Learn how to upload recordings here.

You can receive your voicemail messages via email for free. You can also be alerted via SMS (Please note this will incur the cost of an SMS message. This cost is 6p per SMS unless you buy credits in bulk.)
To add an email or mobile number, simply type it into the relevant destination field. You can add or remove destinations by clicking the plus and minus buttons next to the destination fields.

- To apply the Voicemail settings, just click confirm. Next time the caller leaves a voicemail message, we'll email you the recording.
To listen to any of your voicemails online, log into your myTTNC account and listen there (you'll find them with your Call Statistics); or download the recording (.wav format) if you want to keep a copy to review at a later stage.
Just so you know, recordings are available on your account for 31 days after the call.
