Adding an Email Address

Before you can start sending faxes via email, you will need to set up at least one email address. You can do this by following these simple steps:

1. Log into myTTNC by going to www.myttnc.co.uk
2. Click on Fax in the left-hand menu.

3. Click Email To Fax, then click Create Address

4. Fill out the information:

• Name: the name of the person who has access to the email address.
• Send from: the TTNC number you want to display on the receiving fax machine.
• Email address: this is the email address from which you will be sending a fax.
• PIN code: enter a four-digit PIN, which is required when sending a fax.
• Receive an email receipt?: if this option is selected, when the fax is sent, you will receive a copy of the fax via email.

Finally click Save

You can amend any of the Outbound email address' information at a later date by clicking the three dots, and clicking Edit

Sending a Fax Via Email

Once you have added an email address, you can now send a fax message via email by following the steps below:

1. Log in to your email account or open your email client and select the option to compose a new email. If you are unsure of how to do this, please consult your email client's FAQs.
2. For the Email to Fax service to work, you will need to enter the following information:

• In the 'to' field: type the receiving fax number followed by @fax.ttnc.co.uk, similar to an email address format. For example [email protected]
• Subject: enter the PIN code associated with the email address. The fax will not send unless the correct PIN code is entered.
• Body of the email: attach the file you wish to fax.

Please note

The file you upload must be either a PDF, JPEG or TIFF file. No other file formats are supported.

3. You are now ready to send the fax. If you have email receipts enabled, once the fax is sent you will receive an email with a copy of the fax.
