Outbound SMS
Most of us are permanently attached to our mobile phones, so being able to reach out to your staff, clients or customers by SMS text is an effective communication tool.
A single SMS consists of 160 characters, longer messages will be concatenated into a multipart SMS consisting of 151 characters each. This is due to a header that identifies the order of the messages.
SMS messages should only contain latin characters.
SMS - Limitation
Due to the nature of SMS services, we're unable to guarantee the delivery of every SMS.
In addition, some mobile carriers may prevent the delivery of messages that contain financial links due to their potential fraudulent nature.
Due to regulation changes in the USA, our international delivery partner has been forced to replace all originator CLIs on SMS to the USA with a generic registered CLI. Unfortunately, this is something beyond our control.
