SMS Contacts
If you frequently send SMS to the same numbers, it's more efficient to create a contact for them, especially if you send bulk SMS for marketing purposes.
Adding SMS Contacts
Creating single SMS contacts is simple, and will save you time:
- Log into myTTNC by going to www.myttnc.co.uk
- Click on the Account menu drop-down in the top right corner of the page.

- Click
Contacts

- Click on
SMS Contacts
and then clickCreate Contact

- Enter their name and number, then click
Save

- Your new contact can be selected when sending an SMS.

Editing and Deleting SMS Contacts

and then click on the three dots next to the contact you wish to update, then click onEdit

Importing Contacts
Import File Formatting
The .csv file uploaded to import contacts should have the following formatting:
Column A - Contact Name
Column B - Contact's Number - this should be in the E164 format. All numbers should begin with the country code. For UK numbers this would be 44 and drop the leading 0, i.e. 442031511000.Failure to follow this formatting will result in the imported number being incorrect.
The easiest way to add multiple SMS contacts to your account is to import a .csv file. To do this:
- Log into myTTNC by going to www.myttnc.co.uk
- Click on the Account menu drop-down in the top right corner of the page.

- Click
Contacts

- Click
Import Contacts

- Drag and drop the correctly formatted .csv file as mentioned above, or click the
Upload File
box to search for the file. ClickImport

- Log into myTTNC by going to www.myttnc.co.uk
- Click on the Account menu drop-down in the top right corner of the page.

- Click
Contacts

- Click on
SMS Contacts Groups
and then clickCreate SMS Contacts Group

- Add a Group Name, then click
Add Contact

- If you want to add an existing contact, tick the contact, then click
Add to Group
alternatively if you want to add a new contact, clickCreate Contact

- Enter the contact's name and number, then click
Save

- Click
Save
to create the group.

- If you're making changes, you can remove a contact by clicking the
X
next to the contact, or you can clickAdd Contact

- If you want to add an existing contact, tick the contact, then click
Add to Group
alternatively if you want to add a new contact, clickCreate Contact

- Enter the contact's name and number, then click
Save

- Tick all the contacts you wish to add, and click a
Add to Group
Importing Contacts to a SMS Contacts Group
