Upload recordings

Certain services such as Voicemail Pro and Virtual Receptionist allow you to have a custom greeting. You can upload recordings to your account to use with these services.

Adding new recordings

To upload a new recording to use with your services, just follow these steps:

  1. Log in by either clicking on the login button in the header or by going to www.myttnc.co.uk
  2. Click on the Phone Numbers tab in the left hand menu.
  3. Click on Recordings.

  1. There are two ways to upload recordings:
    • Upload Recording File: you can upload any recordings you've created on your computer. Just click the 'Upload New Recording' button and select the file. You will then be asked to give the recording a name and select a recording type. Recordings must be in .mp3 or .wav format.
    • Dial In Recording: if you can't make the recording on your computer, you can use our dial in service. Just dial the number 0844 818 1000 and enter your PIN number and Account number (both can be found on the recordings page). Once you've finished making the recording, it will automatically be uploaded to myTTNC.

All recordings you've uploaded will be accessible from the recordings page, as well as any of the relevant service pages.


Editing recordings

Follow the steps below to edit your recordings:

  1. Log in by either clicking on the login button in the header or by going to www.myttnc.co.uk
  2. Click on the Phone Numbers tab in the left hand menu.
  3. Click on Recordings.

  1. Click the edit icon alongside the recording you want to edit.

  1. In the pop up box that appears, you can rename your recording or classify it as a specific recording type (this will help you find it when setting up your services).

  1. To apply your changes, just click the Update Recording button.


Deleting recordings

If you no longer need a recording, just click the delete icon.
