Set up a UK Ringtone for calls answered outside the UK

While you're answering calls outside the UK you can set up your TTNC business numbers to play UK Ringtone. Your customer doesn't have to find out that their call is being answered outside the UK (unless you choose to tell them). They'll hear the same ringtone as if they were calling a number in their town.


UK Ringtone Restriction

This service is for business use only.
We're unable to apply this service on non-TTNC numbers.

Enabling and disabling UK Ringtone

You can Activate/Disable the service whenever you choose in myTTNC. Just follow these simple steps:

  1. Log in by either clicking on the login button in the header or by going to
  2. Click on the Phone Numbers tab in the left hand menu.
  3. Click on the Edit button on the number you want to setup UK Ringtone.

  1. If you have Time Based Forwarding or Virtual Receptionist (Bolt Ons) set up: UK Ringtone is classed as a destination service so will not show in the initial list of services. To set up UK Ringtone, either go to a Time Plan under Time Based Forwarding or an option under Virtual Receptionist and then select UK Ringtone from the list of services.

Otherwise: Select UK Ringtone from the list of services.

Select 'UK Ringtone' from the list of services

  1. Simply make sure the ON/OFF switch is set to ON to ensure that your callers always hear a UK Ringtone, no matter where in the world you are.
