How to receive faxes via email

Although faxes are sometimes regarded as old fashioned, they remain an essential part of business and are likely to do so for the next few years. This is probably why our Fax to Email service is one of the most popular services we offer.

Receiving faxes in your email inbox can help keep all your communications in one place and give you the opportunity to receive faxes in either PDF or TIFF image format.

Setting up Fax to Email

Following these simple steps below will enable you to configure this service and start receiving faxes direct to your email inbox:

  1. Log in by either clicking on the login button in the header or by going to www.myttnc.co.uk
  2. Click on the Phone Numbers tab in the left hand menu.
  3. Click on the Edit button on the number you want to setup Fax to Email.

  1. Select Call Forwarding from the list of services.

  1. Click on the Fax to Email tab at the top.

Select 'Fax to Email' from the drop down

  1. You can select from two different file types to receive your emails in:
  • TIFF Image
  • PDF Document

Choose the desired file format

  1. Enter up to ten email addresses where you would like your faxes sent in the Destination field. You can add or remove email addresses by clicking the plus and minus buttons next to each destination field.

Enter the email destinations into the input boxes

  1. To apply these settings, just click confirm. Whenever someone sends a fax to your number, we will convert it to the file format of your choice and forward it to your email address. Please note that when using Fax to Email you will no longer be able to receive any calls on this number.
