How to configure and alter the setup of Yealink Repeaters
RTX 4022 - Connect with Yealink
- Ensure the RTX Repeater is powered off.
- Turn on the Yealink base station and connect your handset.
- On the handset press OK → Settings → 8. System Settings → Repeater Mode and press 'Change'.
- A message will be displayed saying 'Setting takes effect after base reboot. Reboot now or not?' - press 'Yes'.
- The base station should reboot, if not, manually restart the base station.
- Once rebooted, press and hold the wireless button on the front of the base station for 2 seconds to enter 'Pairing Mode' (the handset icon on the base will flash green).
- While the handset icon is flashing, power on the repeater. The light on the repeater should flash red and then go solid green.
RTX 4022 - Factory Reset
- Power off the RTX Repeater.
- Power on the RTX Repeater for between 1-5 secs, then power off.
- Power on RTX Repeater for between 25-35 secs, then power off.
- Now the RTX Repeater should be reset, power it back on and the light should be blinking slowly.
Yealink RT20U - Connect with Yealink
- Ensure the Yealink Repeater is powered off.
- Turn on the Yealink base station and connect your handset.
- On the handset press OK → Settings → 8. System Settings → Repeater Mode and press 'Change'.
- A message will be displayed saying 'Setting takes effect after base reboot. Reboot now or not?' - press 'Yes'.
- The base station should reboot, if not, manually restart the base station.
- Once rebooted, press and hold the wireless button on the front of the base station for 2 seconds to enter 'Pairing Mode' (the handset icon on the base will flash green).
- While the handset icon is flashing, power on the repeater. The DECT light on the repeater should flash green and then go solid green.
Yealink RT20U - Factory Reset
- Long press the reset key on the repeater.
- The DECT LED will slowly flash red to denote the de-registering has been successful.
